On Friday, infrastructure firm WhiteWater announced that the ADCC pipeline in South Texas commenced commercial operations on July 1, coinciding with increased U.S. liquefied natural gas exports worldwide. This 40-mile pipeline has the capacity to transport approximately 1.7 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) of natural gas from the Whistler Pipeline’s Agua Dulce Header in South Texas to the Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility.
Whistler Pipeline, a joint venture of WhiteWater and Enbridge, owns 70% of ADCC, while a subsidiary of Cheniere holds the remaining 30%. This development comes as the United States is expected to export a record 12.2 bcfd of natural gas this year, solidifying its position as the world’s largest LNG supplier since 2023, surpassing Australia and Qatar.
