After three weeks of rising fuel prices, consumers can expect slight rollbacks for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene this week.
From November 19 to 25, 2024, diesel prices will drop by P0.75 per liter. However, this reduction is modest compared to the over P5/L increase seen over the past three weeks. Gasoline prices will fall by P0.85 per liter, while kerosene prices will decrease by P0.90 per liter.
Following these adjustments, gasoline and diesel prices will have risen by P9.30/L and P8.65/L, respectively, since the start of 2024. On the other hand, kerosene prices will show a net decrease of P2.30/L for the year.
To save on fuel costs, keep in mind that prices can vary depending on your location and the fuel station brand. You may find cheaper options along your regular routes rather than near your home or workplace. If your car is consuming more fuel than usual, it may be time to check its fuel efficiency. Additionally, watch out for signs that your fuel injectors might be failing.
