Gas Prices Drop by $0.28 to $0.33, Diesel Prices Rise by $2.07

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Starting Thursday, November 28, motorists will see a decrease in the price of gasoline at the pumps, following the latest ex-refinery pricing from Petrojam.

The price of 90-octane gasoline will drop by $0.33, bringing it to $167.10 per litre. Similarly, the price of 87-octane will fall by $0.28, now priced at $158.13 per litre.

However, diesel prices are on the rise. Automotive diesel will increase by $2.07, bringing the price to $164.53 per litre. Ultra-low sulphur diesel will also see a hike, climbing by $2.03 to $171.53 per litre.

Other fuel types are also experiencing price increases. Kerosene will go up by $1.10, now costing $148.21 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will see an increase of $1.20, bringing its price to $74.11 per litre, while butane liquid petroleum will rise by $1.10 to $83.79 per litre.

It is important to note that marketing companies and retailers will add their own mark-up to these prices.
