KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists will face higher fuel prices starting Thursday, December 19, following the latest price adjustments from Petrojam.
The cost of both grades of gasoline will rise by $0.25 per litre. The 90-octane gasoline will be priced at $161.36, while the 87-octane will cost $152.38 per litre.
Diesel prices are also seeing an increase. Automotive diesel fuel will rise by $0.82, reaching $159.23 per litre. Ultra-low sulphur diesel will jump by $1.10, bringing the price to $167.23 per litre.
In addition, kerosene will rise by $1.29, now costing $143.90 per litre. Prices for propane and butane liquid petroleum have also increased. Propane will rise by $0.05 to $72.24 per litre, while butane will see a $0.25 increase, reaching $81.74 per litre.
Retailers and marketing companies will apply their respective markups to these prices.
