CHEYENNE – Gasoline prices in Wyoming have decreased by 3.9 cents per gallon over the past week, bringing the state’s average to $2.83 per gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 494 stations across the state.
The current price is 13.6 cents lower than it was a month ago and 2.5 cents less than the price at this time last year.
GasBuddy reports that the lowest price in Wyoming on Sunday was $2.29 per gallon, while the highest reached $3.69 per gallon, creating a price difference of $1.40 per gallon.
Nationwide, the average price for gasoline has risen by 3.1 cents per gallon, reaching $3.01 on Monday. However, the national average is down 2.6 cents from a month ago and is 9.2 cents lower than it was a year ago.
Meanwhile, the average price of diesel has increased by 0.6 cents over the past week, reaching $3.478 per gallon.
