Fuel prices are set to rise on Tuesday, with several oil companies announcing a price increase of less than PHP1 per liter.
In separate advisories, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell confirmed that they will increase the price of gasoline and diesel by 80 centavos per liter. Seaoil and Shell will also raise kerosene prices by 10 centavos per liter.
The price hikes will take effect as early as 6 a.m. on February 18.
Other oil companies are expected to follow suit and implement similar price adjustments.
This increase follows a slight rollback in fuel prices last week, when gasoline and diesel prices were reduced by 10 centavos per liter, and kerosene by 30 centavos per liter.
Before last week’s rollback, gasoline prices in Metro Manila ranged from PHP52 to PHP77.87 per liter, diesel from PHP50 to PHP74.60 per liter, and kerosene from PHP72.54 to PHP84.70 per liter.
