Gas prices in the Central Atlantic region dropped for the second consecutive week, averaging $3.51 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, down from last week’s $3.53 per gallon, as reported by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Over the past month, the average fuel price in the region has decreased by approximately 13 cents. Looking back, the EIA data shows that gas prices ranged from a low of $3.18 on January 15, 2024, to a high of $3.85 on August 7, 2023.
Compared to a year ago, the average gas price in the Central Atlantic region was 2% higher at $3.58 per gallon.
