Nepal Oil Corporation will reduce the prices of petroleum products starting from midnight on Friday. The price of petrol will decrease by Rs5 per litre, while diesel and kerosene prices will drop by Rs3 per litre.
Under the new pricing, petrol will cost Rs165 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal. Diesel and kerosene will be priced at Rs155 per litre in these areas.
In Surkhet and Dang, petrol will be priced at Rs164 per litre, and diesel and kerosene will each cost Rs154 per litre.
In Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, the price of petrol will be Rs162.5 per litre, while diesel will cost Rs152.5 per litre.
The prices for LP gas and aviation fuel will remain unchanged.
Nepal’s fuel prices are set according to an automatic pricing mechanism based on tariffs from the Indian Oil Corporation, its sole supplier.
