In Dickinson, North Dakota, an ongoing investigation is being conducted into a crude oil tank fire that occurred earlier this week. The incident, believed to have been sparked by an explosion, took place at an active oil site near the West Ridge Addition.
The Dickinson Fire Department responded to an emergency call regarding a fire at the intersection of 15th Street West and 40th Avenue West. Due to the proximity of the fire to residential and commercial areas, including the West Ridge Apartments and Family Fare supermarket, temporary evacuations were necessary for the safety of nearby residents and workers.
