Gas prices in Arizona are likely to drop below $3 per gallon soon, providing much-needed relief for drivers. Currently, the average price in the state is 17 cents higher than the national average.
According to Julian Paredes from AAA Arizona, supply issues in California have been resolved. This development could lead to lower prices in states like Arizona that depend on California’s fuel supply.
Paredes noted, “The most expensive gas in Arizona is in Graham County, averaging about $3.53 per gallon. In contrast, La Paz County has the lowest prices at $3.15.”
He also mentioned that Hurricane Helene’s impact will likely keep the national average price steady. However, gas production is not expected to be affected by the hurricane. As a result, prices are anticipated to decrease over the coming weeks and months.
