LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock is once again home to the lowest gas prices in both Texas and the United States.
According to AAA, the current price for regular gasoline in Lubbock is $2.487 per gallon, the lowest recorded in the past year. Mid-grade gas is priced at $2.881, while premium gas costs $3.174.
In contrast, Dallas has the highest gas prices in Texas, with regular gas at $2.830 per gallon. However, this is still below the national average of $3.084. Dallas also reports mid-grade prices at $3.248 and premium gas at $3.576.
