Current data indicates a small increase in ULP93 and ULP95 petrol prices for January, while diesel and illuminating paraffin are expected to see a decline.
ULP95 is projected to rise by 3 cents per litre (c/l), and ULP93 is set to increase by 11c/l. On the other hand, diesel prices are expected to fall by 3c/l, and illuminating paraffin is anticipated to decrease by around 14c/l.
These price adjustments will take effect on January 1st.
However, as this data is based on mid-month figures, there could be significant changes in the coming weeks before the new year.
Eleanor Mavimbela, a spokesperson for the Automobile Association, advises consumers to begin budgeting now. “It is crucial at this time for consumers to start budgeting and looking at the numbers,” she said.
