Nova Scotia’s Utility and Review Board (UARB) will adjust diesel prices at midnight on Wednesday, January 17, 2025, in an unscheduled move.
The board stated that the adjustment is necessary due to significant fluctuations in the market price of diesel oil. It will use its interrupter mechanism to make the change.
Normally, price adjustments in Nova Scotia occur on Fridays, but this change is outside the regular schedule.
While the UARB did not specify the exact change in diesel prices, it confirmed that gasoline prices will remain unaffected by this adjustment.
