The average price of gas in Indiana on Friday was $2.96 per gallon, according to the Triple A Motor Club. This was a slight increase of one cent from Thursday and 18 cents lower than the national average for the day.
Compared to last week, gas prices remained the same. The price was 12 cents lower than a month ago and 11 cents lower than the same time last year.
Meanwhile, the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Friday was $3.66 per gallon, unchanged from Thursday. It was one cent lower than last week, two cents higher than a month ago, and 27 cents lower than a year ago.
The average price for charging an electric vehicle in Indiana on Friday stood at 36 cents per kilowatt hour, also the same as Thursday, and one cent higher than the national average.
