KUALA LUMPUR: Diesel prices in Peninsular Malaysia will decrease by 3 sen per litre from March 20 to 26.
The Finance Ministry announced on Wednesday, March 19, that the new retail price for diesel will be RM3.03 per litre in the peninsula.
However, the price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan will remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre during the same period.
The retail prices of RON95 and RON97 petrol will also stay the same at RM2.05 and RM3.28 per litre, respectively, across the country.
The ministry explained that these prices were determined using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula, which reflects weekly retail pricing of petroleum products.
It added that the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take necessary actions to safeguard the well-being of the people.
