Iraq ranked third among Arab OPEC producers for the highest crude export price in March 2025, according to data from OPEC. The average price of Iraqi crude reached $73.82 per barrel, placing it behind Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Saudi Arabia’s Arab Light crude took the top spot in March, with an average price of $76.07 per barrel. It was followed closely by Kuwait’s crude, which sold for $75.36 per barrel. These two countries led the list, with Iraq coming in third.
Algeria’s Saharan Blend crude ranked fourth with an average price of $72.84 per barrel, while the UAE’s Murban crude was priced at $72.63 per barrel, securing the fifth spot. Libya’s Es Sider crude came in sixth at $71.19 per barrel.
The overall price of Arab crude grades in March saw a decline, with the average price falling to $73.65 per barrel. This was a decrease from $76.68 per barrel in February, reflecting a drop in the prices of crude exports across the region.
These price changes highlight the fluctuating nature of global oil markets and the varying export prices among OPEC producers. The data underscores Iraq’s position as a significant player in the Arab oil market, though it still lags behind Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in terms of crude export prices.
