Malaysian palm oil outlook: Palm oil futures expected to open lower

May 12, according to foreign media reports, Friday morning BMD Malaysian palm oil futures may open lower, as the external market lower. Lower U.S. soybean oil futures and international crude oil futures will drag down the early performance of the Malaysian crude palm oil futures market. Indonesian palm oil production is expected to rise sharply in May after public holidays constrained production in April, industry bodies said. However, Malaysia’s palm oil exports improved and palm oil inventories fell to the lowest level in 11 months, which will limit the downside of the palm oil market.
