The first 100 million-ton LNG receiving station in Guangdong, China was born(June 5th)

On June 5th, according to Guangzhou Daily, it was recently learned from CNOOC that the receiving station of Guangdong Dapeng LNG Co., Ltd. has supplied a total of 100 million tons of gas to the downstream, becoming the first LNG receiving station in Guangdong with a gas supply exceeding 100 million tons. , This is also a historic moment in the development of China’s imported LNG industry. As a pilot project for importing LNG, Dapeng LNG has been supplying gas to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, Huizhou and other cities since it was put into operation in 2006. 100 million tons of LNG are imported from all over the world through LNG carriers, and then transported to gas-fired power plants and connected to the urban gas pipeline network after unloading, ensuring the electricity and gas consumption of about 70 million people in the region.
