Global distillate fuel oil cracking strengthens slightly over past month

Global distillate fuel oil cracks have strengthened slightly over the past month, as inventories have risen less than expected given the scale of the manufacturing and freight downturns in major economies. Distillate fuel oils such as diesel and heating oil are mainly used in freight, manufacturing, building and construction, and to a lesser extent in residential and commercial heating.
