CNOOC: The main structure of five of the world’s largest LNG storage tanks is completed

On July 3, CNOOC announced that Jinwan “Green Energy Port”, the largest natural gas storage and transportation base in South China, has five liquefied natural gas storage tanks with the world’s largest single tank capacity of 270,000 cubic meters in the second phase project. The main structure is completed.

It is understood that after the second phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2024, Jinwan “Green Energy Port” will become the largest natural gas storage and transportation base in South China, with an annual processing capacity of 7 million tons, equivalent to about 10 billion cubic meters of gaseous natural gas , can reduce 33.52 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
