Indian refiners start paying Russian oil in CNY

India’s largest buyer of Russian crude oil, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), in June became the first state-owned refiner to pay part of the payment in CNY, three sources said.

At least two of India’s three private refiners are also using yuan to pay for some imports from Russia, two other sources said.
