WTI Crude Oil

WTI crude oil stands for West Texas Intermediate crude oil, which is a type of light, sweet crude oil that is primarily produced in the United States. WTI is a benchmark oil used to price other crude oils around the world and is traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). It is considered to be one of the highest quality crude oils because of its low sulfur content and ability to produce more gasoline per barrel than heavier crude oils.
